Marianita (Anaya) Montoya-Trevizo, 81, met the eyes of Jesus on April 18, 2018, surrounded by her family in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born on August 26, 1936 in Tajique, New Mexico, to the late Jesusita (Garcia) and Pablo Anaya.

Marianita was a lifetime resident of Tajique and a member of the San Antonio Catholic Church in Tajique.

Marianita was a family oriented woman. She loved birthdays, Christmas parties and any holiday if it meant getting to see her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. She loved to sew and made all the kids costumes growing up. Her laughter was contagious, her generosity ran deep she led a very humble life. Marianita will be deeply missed by her family, friends and community.

She is also preceded in death by her husband, Roman Montoya; son, Raymond Montoya; brothers, George Anaya, Liverato Anaya and Alfonso Anaya; sister, Severa Aragon; and granddaughter, Mariana Webster.

Marianita is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, Cenobio Trevizo of Los Lunas, NM; son, Archie Montoya (Kathy) of Santa Fe, NM; daughters, Alice Lucero (Eddie) of Estancia, NM; Flora Alarid (Candido) of Estancia, NM; Pauline Vigil (Art) of Los Lunas, NM; Debbie Cates (Ron) of Los Lunas, NM; Rita Luna (Florian) of Punta de Agua, NM; and Ramona Cordova (Leroy) of Tajique, NM; brothers, Sylvestre Anaya of Tajique, NM; and Pablito Anaya (Pearl) of Mountainair, NM; and sister, Virginia Lesperance of Tajique, NM; 23 grandchildren; 50 greatgrandchildren, with one more on the way; and one great-great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were: Andrew Vigil, Edward Lucero, Brian Alarid, Joe Lesperance, Kasey Cates and Isaac Luna. Honorary Pallbearers were: all her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her great-great grandchild.
