DAVENPORT -- Services for Seda May Winfield, of Davenport, will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Runge Mortuary and Crematory, Davenport. Burial will be in Blue Grass, Iowa, Cemetery. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Winfield died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1999, at Davenport Lutheran Home. Seda Farrell was born Feb. 6, 1912, in Davenport, to William O. and Armedia May (Travis) Farrell. She married Anslem Winfield on Dec. 13, 1927, in Davenport. He died Feb. 25, 1975. She and her husband farmed in Scott County for many years. She was a member of Community Baptist Church, Andalusia, Ill., and Blue Grass American Legion Auxiliary. Memorials may be made to Center for Active Seniors Inc. or Community Baptist Church, Andalusia. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Clarissa and Vincent Fowler, Davenport, Dorothy Holst, Davenport, and Lenora and Charles Buckley, Princeton, Iowa; sons and daughters-in-law, George and Joan Winfield, Davenport, and Robert and Janice Winfield, Blue Grass; 24 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren 12 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Laura Pellin, Buffalo, Iowa. She was preceded in death by nine brothers; a sister; and a son-in-law, Keith Holst, in 1993.
