Another Good Woman Answers Last Call
Mrs. E.M. Armstrong passed away at her home northeast of the city Sunday morning, the cause of death being a complications of diseases. She leaves a husband and five sons (George, Charles, Franz, Roy and Lester) at home. A daughter (Florence) passed away a few months ago.

Deceased was born June 20, 1869, at Smithland, Iowa, and shortly afterwards her parents moved to Sioux City where she grew to womanhood and was married to Mr. Armstrong in 1892. After her marriage she made her home near Moville, Iowa, until they came to Moody County in 1917 and bought the Kotan farm. Here the family has resided since.

During her short residence here she has endured herself to all with whom she came in contact. She was a good mother and wife and a splendid neighbor.

The funeral was held from the home at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The Royal Neighbors attended in a body and the services were conducted by Rev. J.A. Blilie of the Lutheran church. Interment was made in Union Cemetery.
