Uncle Edward married his first wife, Lou Tittle, daughter of George Washington Tittle and Mary Ann Watts Tittle on December 17, 1902 in Smith County, Tn.
Edward's 2nd wife was Mary Magdalene "Mollie" Spears Apple whom he married on April 28, 1917 in Wilson County. Mollie's parents were Lewis and Amanda Spears.
Mollie is listed on the grave marker with Uncle Edward but she is not buried in this cemetery. After his death she moved to North Carolina. Edward's death certificate lists Wilson County Memorial Gardens (previously known as Lebanon Cemetery).
