HELENE K. KINDER, 89, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2007, 9:30 a.m., at her residence. Born Oct. 27, 1917, in Philadelphia, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Helen (Kretschman) and William O'Conner. She was an artist at Pottstown Senior Center and member of First Presbyterian Church. Surviving are her husband, Horten Kinder of Fort Wayne; daughter, Beverly Goodwin of Wyalusing, Pa.; son, Richard Cundey of Salt Lake City, Utah; daughter, Barbara Leer of Douglasville, Pa.; brother, Bernard O'Conner of San Diego, Calif. and eight grandchildren. Funeral service is 3 p.m. Saturday at The Lutheran Home Chapel. Burial in First Presbyterian Columbarium
