Born in West Warwick he was a son of the late Walter and Agnes (Koscielniak) Budz. He lived in East Providence for the past 44 years and was formerly of Pawtucket.
Before retiring in 1987 Mr. Budz was employed by the former Carol Cable Co. of Pawtucket for 26 years as a Reeler and Inspector.
Andrew was a veteran of the Korean war, serving as a Corporal in the infantry.
He is survived by one daughter Christina V. Gustafson and her husband Richard of East Providence. He was predeceased by eight siblings.
The funeral for Mr. Budz will be held Wednesday April 18, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. from the Karol A. Romenski Funeral Home 342 High Street Central Falls with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Martha’s Church 2595 Pawtucket Avenue East Providence at 11:00 a.m.
