Thomas Lillis Aaron, 49 years of age, passed away on Saturday afternoon, June 26, 1954, when his 1951 motor car was in a collision with a dump truck three and one-half miles east of Atchison. Thomas was born in Lansing, Kansas. He made his home at 315 North 13th Street in Kansas City, Kansas.

Mr. Aaron was a self-employed motor car accessory salesman and was making his rounds of service stations. He had been a resident of Kansas City, Kansas, for 42 years and was a scoutmaster of the Boy Scout Troop No. 9, sponsored by St. Peter's Cathedral. He also headed the troop's explorer unit. Mr. Aaron was a member of St. Peter's Cathedral and its Holy Name Society.

He leaves his father, Frank Xavier Aaron, of the home; four sisters: Mrs. Agnes Harvey of San Diego; Mrs. Mary Nally of 1112 Ella Avenue and Mrs. Alice Blanton of 1119 Ohio Avenue, both of Kansas City, Kas.; and Mrs. Rita Bath of Vienna, Va.; and two brothers, Fred Aaron of the home and Lawrence Aaron of 5221 Walnut Street in Kansas City.

Visitation and the Rosary recitation by the Daughter of Isabella and the church parishioners was held at the Joseph A. Butler's Sons Chapel . The Funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Peter's Cathedral. Interment followed at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
