W. A. Truesdell, aged 21 years, was instantly killed by a fall of ground in the Berkeley mine about 11 o'clock yesterday morning, Coroner Holland ordered the body sent to the Daly-Shea undertaking establishment and an inquest will be held. The accident occurred on the 1,300-foot level. In Truesdell's pocket was found a letter written to his mother, Mrs. W. M. Truesdell, Cody, Wyo. The young man had been rooming at 71 West Park street, and it is thought he had not lived long in Butte. The mother was notified of her son's death last night, and authorities are awaiting word from her before disposing of the body.
