James Franklin Ainsworth and Elva VIola Mudge were married 28 Mar 1892 in Port Huron, St. Clair County, Michigan. They were the parents of one daughter, Verna Viola Ainsworth. Their marriage ended in divorce.

James Franklin Ainsworth, 80, retired yard master of Illinois Central Railroad company, Chicago, died today in the home of Mr. and Mrs. George A. Fair, 1435 Lyons street, after a short illness. Mr. Ainsworth was born March 20, 1870, in Colburn, Ont. He was a son of the late Walter and Sephronia MacDonald Ainsworth, former well known residents here.

Mr. Ainsworth, who made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Fair here some three years, was a member of the Brotherhood of Railway trainmen and of University lodge No. 1077, F.& A.M., Chicago. He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Roger Seccombe, Port Huron; a grandson, Roger Seccombe, Jr., Oak Ridge, Tenn., three great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

The remains are in the Arthur Smith funeral home.Funeral arrangements have not been completed.
