Julia Ellen Clemens Rawlings, widow of Herbert Rawlings of Bosanquet Township, passed away on Saturday, June 2 on the 53rd anniversary of her marriage following a short illness, in her 78th year. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Abram Clemens and a life-long resident of Bosanquet Township. On June 2 1892, she married Herbert Rawlings, who predeceased her in October, 1940. Surviving are five sons and three daughters, Walter Rawlings of Sarnia Township; Lloyd, Warwick Township; Austin and Earl, Bosanquet; Edgar, Forest; Mrs. Archie Fuller and Mrs. Arthur Page of Bosanquet and Mrs. Alfred Radke, Hespeler. There are 25 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The funeral took place from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Archie Fuller, Lake Road, Bosanquet on Tuesday afternoon with interment in Ravenswood Cemetery.
