Hester T. Hunter, 95, Mayfield, died Monday, April 9, 2007, at 6:15 a.m. at Green Acres Health Care, Mayfield.
She had retired after 28 years of service with the former Merit Clothing Company and was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
Preceding her in death were two sisters, Laura Dewey and Grace D. Newsome, and three brothers, Hershel Hunter, Herman Hunter and Garland Hunter. She was the daughter of the late John H. Hunter and Mitchie Murphy Hunter.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Geneva Taylor, and one nephew, Eugene Hunter, both of Mayfield; three great-nieces and great-nephews; five great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
A graveside service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Highland Park Cemetery. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum. Rev. Joel Jackson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Eugene Hunter, Terry Hunter, Mitchell Hunter, Eric Hunter and Cliff Cope.
