Audrey Mae Fitzgerald was born in Rains County on April 28, 1912, the daughter of Austin and Emma Myrtle Knight Potts. She married Lee Middleton Fitzgerald on April 27, 1931 in Hugo, OK. He preceded her in death on January 1, 1994.
Mrs. Fitzgerald was a homemaker and a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church in Emory.
Survivors include two sons: Dennis Fitzgerald of Athens, and Dean Fitzgerald of Kerrville; three daughters: Sandra Weatherford of Emory, Linda Knight of Longview, and Peggy Acosta of Red Oak; one brother: Lawrence Potts of Sulphur Springs; one sister: Margie Kinser of Olney; thirteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers: Garland Potts and Floyd Potts.
