Mrs. Fitzgerald was a homemaker and a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church in Emory.
Survivors include two sons: Dennis Fitzgerald of Athens, and Dean Fitzgerald of Kerrville; three daughters: Sandra Weatherford of Emory, Linda Knight of Longview, and Peggy Acosta of Red Oak; one brother: Lawrence Potts of Sulphur Springs; one sister: Margie Kinser of Olney; thirteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers: Garland Potts and Floyd Potts.
