Lowell was born June 29, 1946 in Cherokee, Iowa, the son of Job Clayton and Mabel Blanche (Arrasmith) Leeds.
He served in the U. S. Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War.
After the military, he worked as a mechanic. He loved working with his hands and could fix anything.
He also enjoyed fishing, and would never turn down an opportunity to spend the day catching fish.
Throughout his life, Lowell was known for his selflessness and giving spirit. When called on, he would drop everything to help others.
He always put others before himself and set an example for those around him to do the same.
His generosity will live on through those whose lives he touched.
He and Joan Elaine Buck were married in 1983.
He was predeceased by his parents; and his wife.
Graveside Services will be at 12:30 p.m., Friday April 20, 2018 at the National Cemetery at Leavenworth, Kansas.
