Daisy C. Gosnell, passed away at the home of her parents, Daniel Hale and Elvira A. Watson Gosnell, in Taylor Township on Wednesday morning, August 19, 1896. She was 19 years of age.

She had been afflicted for a year and a half with consumption. Her career was remarkable from first date to last. Born on the 19th, died on the 19th, was 19 years of age and her funeral lesson was the 19th Psalm. Born on Friday and buried on Friday. Daisy was converted to Christ in 1894, and was taken into full membership in the Methodist church. She endeavored to live a consistent Christian life, and her love of God was a great confort through her lingering disease. She had been an active and useful member of society which will make her departure more keenly felt by those who bore her friendship.

Her sister, Zella Gosnell Bird, is also buried in this cemetery.
