Edward Smith Stinson, a resident of Medford for over 52 years, passed away at a local hospital Thursday. Mr Stinson was born near Centerville, IA, August 6, 1865. He was united in marriage to Rose Ella Daily, December 25, 1884. She preceded him in death June 16, 1929.
Mr Stinson had been affiliated with the First Baptist Church since 1905 and served as a deacon for many years. He leaves to mourn his loss, three children, Frank O and William H Stinson, of Medford, and Mrs Stanley Taylor of McMinnville, OR; also 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Perl Funeral Home Saturday at 2 pm, the Rev WA Dawes, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will take place in Medford IOOF Cemetery.
