Betty Ruth Brannan Corbin, 82, of Twin Falls, died Monday, April 2, 2007, at St. Luke's Magic Valley Regional Medical Center in Twin Falls.

Betty was born to William and Flossie Meeker on Aug. 17, 1924, at Berwyn, Neb. She married Eugene "Curly" Brannan, and they raised a family of five children in Twin Falls. In 1974, Betty married Lawrence "Larry" Corbin and moved to Colorado, later returning to Twin Falls.

Betty loved camping and the friendship of fellow campers. Betty was a dedicated homemaker and especially enjoyed making sure everyone was well fed. Betty's faith in God was firmly in place and it was not unusual to hear her singing hymns while doing her housework.

Betty is survived by her husband, Lawrence "Larry" Corbin; her children, Pat Nation, Jerry (Karla) Brannan, Willie (Jan) Brannan and Linda Brannan; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Curly; one son, O.J. Brannan; and her siblings, Ester Coy, Jessie Tennet, Opal Hoshaw, Francis Ochsner and Billy Roy Meeker.
