Hickman, NE--Celia Emma Black, wife of Cyrus Black, editor of the Hickman Enterprise, died at her home in Hickman at 2:30 a.m. today, after a prolonged siege of diabetes. She was 52 years old.

She is survived by her husband and one daughter, Susie B., also her mother, one sister, and eight brothers.

Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church in Hickman at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be in Hickman cemetery.

From husband Cyrus Black's obit: Mr. Cyrus Black's first newspaper experience was at Byron, 45 years ago, and it was while there that in 1888 he married Celia Evelyn Hayes, who died in 1912.
