Aleda Grimm beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother went home to be with her Lord August 21, 2009. She was born in Canton, on Sept 7, 1915. During her 93 years of life, she counted as blessings the love of her husband, children and grandchildren and most of all her Savior, Jesus. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, John D. Grimm, parents, Charles and Edith Kane and brother, Earl Kane. Aleda was a faithful member of Dueber United Methodist Church since the age of 17 and is a member of the Wesleyan Bible Class. She was retired as a proofreader for the Burch Directory Co. of Akron. Aleda's greatest pleasures were being a homemaker, traveling with her husband, serving her family and sharing her Christian faith. She enjoyed sewing, baking and making handcrafts for her grandchildren. She is lovingly remembered for her devout faith to her Lord and devotion to her family. Aleda is survived by her son, Robert Grimm of La Fayette, Colorado, daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Gilbert Reiman of Louisville, OH. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, Kelly and Dennis Royer of Arroya Grande, CA., Jodi and Martin Constantine of Cuyahoga Falls, OH., Michael and Wendy Reiman of Massillon, OH., Tricia and Scott Louden of Canton, OH., Holly and Roberto Colo'n of Lebanon, OH., Jamie Reiman of Louisville, OH., Wendy Upperman of Uniontown, OH., Charles and Kristen Reiman of Louisville, OH., Marlee Jo Reiman of Loveland, OH., Robert and Megan Grimm of Golden, CO., and Christopher and Michelle Grimm of San Jose, CA. Her 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson, as well as her brothers and sisters in Christ also survive her. Visitation will be at Dueber United Methodist Church on Thursday, August 27, 2009 from 10-11 a.m. with a service celebrating her life to follow. Rev. Dr. Chester Harris will officiate. Internment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park Cemetery.
