Edith Downing Borgstrom, 94, of Vancouver, died Dec. 13, 2005.

She was born March 10, 1911, in Elmira, Wash., to Charles and Fannie Bell (Nowlin) Downing and graduated from R.A. Long High School in 1929.

Mrs. Borgstrom was a bookkeeper at Baker Lumber from 1952 to 1981. She moved to Vancouver in 2002.

She married Leonard Borgstrom in 1951. He preceded her in death in 2002.

Mrs. Borgstrom is survived by a son, Norman Nelsen; a stepson, Paul Borgstrom; a daughter, Donna Carlsen-Bukovi; a stepdaughter, Kris Wilson; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Steele Chapel at Longview Memorial Park. The viewing will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
