Keith Tyrone "Ronnie" Coverdale, 57, of Washington, D.C., passed away, Monday, May 1, 2017, at Howard University Medical Center after heart complications. Keith was born July 11, 1959, in Fort Belvoir, Virginia to Charles and Jannie (Seegars) Coverdale. Keith was a navy veteran who served as a fireman aboard the USS Saratoga as part of the Mediterranean Fleet. Keith was later employed as a truck driver and enjoyed traveling across the country. Keith was survived by his mother, Jannie, of Oklahoma City; three brothers, Charles of Lakeland, Florida, Jeff and wife Lucille of Melbourne, Florida, and Duane and wife Carolyn of Milford, Delaware; four sons, Keith Mixon and Ayson Reutebusch of Jacksonville, Florida, Donte Pittman and Chris Coverdale of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Latoya Coverdale of Oklahoma City, and Latoya Long of Dallas, Texas; three step sisters, Rita Cartwright and husband Cleveland, Keena White and husband Ricky of Milford, and Pamela Thomas and husband Morris of Alamogordo, New Mexica; three grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Charles, and his other two sons, Aaron and Elijah Coverdale, who were victims of the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing. Services were held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, 13 May, at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover, Delaware, with interment at Rose Hill Burial Park, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
