Family information has Mrs. Burr buried at Mineral Point Cemetery in Anderson County, Kansas. Upon researching the cemeteries in the area, it is most likely Mrs. Burr was buried at Patton Cemetery, which the local residents called Mineral Point Cemetery. Some researchers believe Mrs. Burr was buried at Amiot Cemetery, however that cemetery only began accepting burials after 1877. Mrs. Burr and other family members died during a spotted fever (bacterial meningitis) outbreak in 1873. Ira and Eleanor Burr's grandchildren are also buried in this cemetery. Thank you to the Anderson County Historical Society for help with this memorial.
