ROBERT BOONE
(1882-1956)

Manchester, Ohio - Robert T. Boone, 73, died at his home at Manchester at 6 a.m. today following an illness of the last two years.

Born in Mason County, Ky., Oct. 1, 1882, he was a son of William and Sarah Britton Boone. He was a member of the Trinity Methodist Church at Manchester.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lou Baldwin Boone; two sons, Dewey of Ripley and Harry of California; two daughters, Mrs. Violet McCaugey of Ripley and Mrs. Thelma Ross of Manchester; 20 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four brothers, William and Harry of Manchester, Walter of Manchester Rt. 1, and Marshall of Ripley; and a sister, Miss Maggie Boone of Manchester.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Trinity Methodist Church with Rev. Fred Cummings of Portsmouth officiating. Burial will be in Manchester Cemetery. The body may be viewed after 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
