Son of Robert Morris and Edith J. Davis.

N. M. Morris.
N. M. Morris passed away at his home in this city Wednesday after a ten days' illness, resulting from a complication of diseases. Deceased was one of our oldest citizens and was a quiet, unassuming man, and always ready to do any act of kindness. He was born in Delaware in 1830 and was first married to a Miss Smith of Walkersville vicinity, she dying a number of years ago. Two sons were born to this union, one dying a few years ago. Willis, the surviving son is now living at Hope, Arkansas. In March, 1903 he was again married to Mrs. Eliza Smith of Shelbyville and she survives to mourn the loss of a husband. Funeral services were conducted by Dr. T. H. B. Anderson at the residence yesterday morning at 10 o'clock and the remains laid to rest in the city cemetery.
