Sarah Jean Sanders Williams, age 95, of Gastonia, was a daughter to the late Frank Leslie and Janet Simpson Sanders. She was also predeceased by her husband, Earl Gaston Williams; sisters, Frances Bronson, Betty Barr Miley.
Mrs. Williams was raised on a farm in Richburg. She moved to Gastonia in 1946, where she lived the rest of her life. She was a retired teacher of 25 years, who taught one of the first special needs classes in Gaston County. She loved family togetherness and her home church, First United Methodist, where she was a Builders’ Sunday School Class and Friendship Club Member.
Interment in Gaston Memorial Park.
