Born in Monroe County on July 16, 1927, she was a daughter of the late John Andrew and Sophia Addaline (Wray) Bow.
Survivors include four sons — James Hagan, Edinburgh, Ind.; Ronnie Hagan, Columbus, Ind.; Ricky Hagan, Franklin, Ind.; and Tommy Hagan, Brunswick, Ga.; a daughter, Rosie Ellis, also of Brunswick; 14 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Five brothers, Everett, Richard, Willie, Orville and Oliver Bow, and four sisters, Helen Daniels, Laura Strode, Opal Bledsoe and Rosie Dimple Bow, all preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on July 17 at the Yokley-Trible Funeral Home in Tompkinsville, with Bro. Wendell Froedge officiating. Burial was at the Poplar Log Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Brandon and Larry Ellis, Thomas Walker and Ronnie and Tommie Hagan.
