Bonnie Evelyn Callihan, 86, went home to her Heavenly Father on Good Friday, March 30, 2018, at Harbor Hospice, in Beaumont, Texas. She was born December 29, 1931, in Raywood, Texas, to Betty and Frank McMillen. Vivacious and warmhearted, Bonnie loved hosting large family gatherings, spirited political discussions, and long evenings playing Canasta. She was well-known for opening her heart and home to anyone in need of a warm meal or place to sleep. Bonnie was married to A.O. "Red" Callihan for sixty-three years until his death in 2012. She worked at First Security National Bank until she and Red became prominent antique dealers. She was a proud sixty-year member of Forest Park United Methodist Church. Bonnie is survived by her children Sandra Fleck and her husband Rodney and Gwen Wilson and her husband John; grandchildren Cary Ryan Webb and his wife Brandy, John Wilson IV and his wife April, Challie Wilson Sherrill and her husband David, Shane Braddock and his wife Sarah, Amanda Braddock and her husband Gordon French, Cody Wilson and his wife Lacey, and Scott Braddock; great-grandchildren Bridger Wilson, McKinley Wilson, Callihan Wilson, Cayden Wilson, Weston Sherrill, Caylee Wilson, William French, Callaway Sherrill, Censley Wilson, and Evelyn Sherrill. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. The family is especially grateful for the loving friendship of Dorothy DeMary. A gathering of Mrs. Callihan's family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Broussard's, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Forest Park United Methodist Church, 225 South Major Drive, Beaumont, with interment at Haven of Rest Cemetery, in Beaumont.
