Lucille Rezek, age 78, of 2005 Division St., Manitowoc, formerly of Cooperstown, went home to Heaven Thursday, February 18, 1999, at St. Mary's Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 22, 1999, at St. James Catholic Church, Cooperstown. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Ronald Colombo. Burial will be in St. James Church Cemetery.
She was born September 19 , 1920, daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Bouda) Witak. She was a graduate of St. James Catholic School, Denmark High School, Class of 1938, and the Milwaukee School of Cosmetology. Lucille worked in several beauty salons in Manitowoc. She married Roy Rezek on October 25, 1947, at St. James Catholic Church, in Cooperstown. He preceded her in death on August 30, 1988. Lucille as a long-time member of St. James Catholic Church, in Cooperstown and was a member of the Christian Mothers and Altar Society.
Survivors include her four children and their families, Tom and Emil Kunstmen; Vic Rezek, Verna Rezek. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy; a daughter, Mary Beth; one grandson, Matthw Rezek; two brothers, Adolph and Victor Witak; two sisters, Eleanor Schaetz and Marcella Wanek.
Family and friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday (TONIGHT) at Knutson-Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County R, Denmark. A Prayer Service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday. Visitation will continue from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Monday, at St. James Catholic Church, Cooperstown.
