Gilbert - Janie Elizabeth Rikard Bouknight, 92, widow of Artemus E. Bouknight, died Saturday at a local nursing home. Mrs. Bouknight was born in Lexington County, a daughter of the late Albert and Lucy Sharpe Rikard. She was a member of Pine [Pond] Branch Methodist Church. Surviving is a brother, Lewie L. Rikard Sr. of Lexington. Funeral services will be today at 4 p.m. in Pond Branch Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. E. H. Rodgers and the Rev. J. A. Wilcok. Pallbearers will be Harold Rikard, Q. L. Rickard, Herbert Lewis, Shuford Lewis, Edison Gunter and Charlie Crout. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home is in charge. © The State, Columbia, SC, 29 Aug 1971
