Born on January 11, 1919 on the family farm near Prescott Iowa, where he was raised, Lyle was the son of Lynn Wells and Clara Belle Kirkpatrick Antisdel.
After completing high school, Lyle went to work at Gits Manufacturing in Creston Iowa. Where he fell in love with Buelah Marie Bird, whom he married, and together they ventured off to California, settling in South Gate where they started a family. In 1956, they were blessed with their daughter, Diana Lynne, and were blessed again in 1958 with their son, Robert Lyle. Lyle worked for General Motors and Beaulah raised the children. Lyle and Beaulah enjoyed camping in the family motorhome and spending time with family. Lyle and Beaulah once took the motorhome on a three-month adventure across the country and back. They made numerous trips to Iowa to see the family. Lyle and Beaulah loved going to Las Vegas to play the slot machines.
Lyle Robert Antisdel was laid to rest at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, California.
