Billy Dene Eden, 87, and lifelong Springdale area resident, died Thursday, March 29, 2018.
He was born December 8, 1930 in Hickory Creek to William Tell “Willie” and Minnie Marie Sigmon Eden.

Billy had several occupations throughout his life but always enjoyed working his farm. He served on the Springdale City Council for 12 years, and was one of the founding members of Revival Tabernacle Church where he also served as an elder. Billy was also a very talented string instrument musician and played the guitar as a music leader at church for many years. Above all he was devoted to God and his family.

He is survived by his wife, Juanette (Butler) Eden whom he married June 3, 1949 in Springdale; four sons, Jim Eden and wife Carol, Bobby Eden, Gregory Eden and wife Nadine, Ken Eden and wife Dawn; one brother, Rev. Paul Eden and wife Mary Ella; 16 grandchildren, Shawna, Kari, Shelah, Jared, Shane, Christopher, Dave, Justin, Brandon, Leslie, Aaron, Andrew, Quintin, Travis, Beth and Casey; 22 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Scott and Anna Jean Anderson.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, at Revival Tabernacle Church with burial at Hickory Creek Cemetery.
