Robert (Bob) Adam Clair, 88, of Longmont passed away March 24, 2018 at McKee Medical Center in Loveland, Colorado.
Bob was born on June 11, 1929 in Billings, Montana to Adam and Francis Louise Yockey Clair. The family moved from Montana to Boulder, CO in 1937. He graduated from Boulder High School, class of 1947. Bob was a veteran who served in the U.S. Marines. He married Patricia Ann Smith on February 15, 1958, they later divorced.
Bob moved to the Hygiene/Longmont area in 1970. He started his own company, Bob Clair Masonry, Inc. in 1964. He remained in business also operating under the name, Clair Industries, for 42 years.
Bob enjoyed wood working, puzzles, and followed the Denver Broncos.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Donald (Pete) Clair of Ensign, KS, and one sister, Betty Lou Vallejos of Denver, CO.
Bob is survived by two daughters: Jody Clair of Longmont, CO and Jeanine Clair Eastwood (Pete) of Durango, CO; one brother, Calvin Clair of Larimer County, CO; one sister, Catherine Lewis of Arvada, CO; and four grandchildren: Billie Porterfield, Kyle Porterfield, Brett Porterfield, and Levi Porterfield.
