Mary Alice Teaster, age 82 of Sevierville, went Home on Friday, March 30, 2018.
Mrs. Teaster was a member of Rocky Branch Bethel Baptist Church in Walland, TN.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was loved by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jackie Teaster; parents, Witt and Hazel Ledbetter; sisters, Johnnie Trentham and Dorothy Boles; and brothers, Rev. Allen Ledbetter and William Ledbetter.
She is survived by her husband, Shirley D. Teaster; children, Cynthia McMillen, Larry D. Teaster and wife Glenda, Vickie Frye and husband Rodger; grandchildren, Grady F. McMillen II, Danny Teaster, Lori Whaley, Jason Bryan, Andy Bryan, Christopher Teaster, and Chad Teaster; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grand children; brother, Don Ledbetter; sisters, Jo Stinnett and Carol Crockett; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Monday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 7 PM with Larry Teaster and Christopher Teaster officiating.
Interment at 1 PM Tuesday in Bethel Cemetery in Townsend with Chad Teaster and Danny Teaster officiating.
