Mrs. Wylie died April 7, 2007, in Kilgore.
She was born Sept. 14, 1915, in Celina. She was a schoolteacher and a member of First Presbyterian Church, Kilgore. She was the 1991 First Lady of Kilgore.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Buckner Wylie; daughter, Linda Wylie Lanier; sisters, Florence Langford, Ph.D., Eloise L. Conner, Martha L. Clay and Mary L. Barnett.
Survivors include sons, Tom Wylie, Lexington, Va., Bill Wylie and David Wylie, both of Kilgore; seven grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
