Narsie Apollos, 93, Gamaliel, died May 16, 2003, at her home. She was a member of the Gamaliel Baptist Church.
Born in Macon County, Tenn. on Dec. 20, 1909, she was a daughter of the late Phillip I. and Lou Flora (Dyer) Sadler, and the wife of Winford Raymond Apollos, who died Nov. 2, 1989. They were married July 20, 1930, in Monroe County.
Survivors include two sisters, Blanche Downs, Louisville, and Zelma Jones, Gamaliel; and several nieces and nephews.
Three sisters, Maymie Apollos, Ida Taylor and Lena Turner, all preceded her in death.

Burial was at the Gamaliel Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Clarence, Kenneth and Winford Taylor; Henry Clay Jones; Joe Woosley; and Tim Apollos.

He was born May 18, 1907 in Gamaliel, Monroe County, Kentucky, and died November 02, 1989 in Gamaliel, Monroe County, Kentucky.
