Sara A. Burgess, 93, of Dahlgren passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 in Mary Washington Hospital. Survivors include her children, Dottie Burgess, Peggy Mullen, Linda Kline, John Burgess, Betty Kniceley and Ricky Burgess; her sister, Marie Sapanara; grandchildren, Sara, Melissa, Erik, Anna, Nick, Blue and Stone and great-grandson, Cayden. Her husband, Blue Burgess preceded her in death. The family will receive friends at the King George chapel of Storke Funeral Home, 11089 James Madison Parkway on Saturday, March 31 from 2:00 4:00 p.m. A private burial will follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dahlgren United Methodist Church Property Memorial.
