Harriet McCarty Miller, 92, of Trumansburg Road, Jacksonville, died in Lakeside Nursing Home.
Born in Sullivan County, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late George P. and Ida Mae Norton McCarty. She was the wife of the late Lloyd F. Miller. He died in 1964.
She was a member of the Jacksonville Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, Lawrence S. Miller, Interlaken; a daughter, Marian I. Miller of Jacksonville; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a brother, Boyd C. McCarty of Sayre, Pennsylvania; a sister-in-law of Waverley; nieces and nephews; cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Victor L. Miller who died in 1984.
Private graveside services will be held July 17 in East Lawn Cemetery. The Rev. Michael Cremean will officiate.
A memorial service will be held Aug. 1 in the Jacksonville Methodist Community Church. The Wagner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
