Agnes Iva (Burlison) Smith of Possum Grape joined her Heavenly Father on March 26, 2018 at the age of 92. She was the daughter of George Ivy Burlison and Eliza A. (Meachum) Burlison and was a member of the Possum Grape Church of Christ. On August 10, 1946 she was joined in marriage to Everett "Ebb" Smith. She enjoyed working word search puzzles, working in her flower bed, sitting on the front porch and hugging all the babies, and eating at Rib Crib, Western Sizzler, and Tonya's.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Everett "Ebb", three grandchildren, Donald Lee Smith, Christopher Henderson and Rebecca Leann Smith; her parents, George Ivy and Eliza (Meachum) Burlison; daughter-in-law, Rhonda Smith; and siblings, John Caldwell (Buster) Burlison, Grace Monday, Donnie Mathis, Violet Kennedy, and Kathleen Moody.
Her survivors are five sons, Ronald Smith of Searcy, Lynn Smith and wife Cathy, Darell Smith and wife Bernadeen, Carl Smith and wife June, and Tim Smith and wife Lesa all of Bradford; four daughters, Brenda Mitchell and husband Johnny, Pam James and husband Levi, Donna Stevens and husband Larry all of Bradford, and Janice Collins and husband Jerry of Searcy. She was blessed with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren that she loved dearly. Mrs. Smith is also survived by one brother, Billy Burlison and wife Betty of Possum Grape and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 30, 2018 at Possum Grape Church of Christ with burial in Coffeyville Cemetery.
Friends may visit at the funeral home 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2018.
