Mr. Christopher Lee McKeaver, age 45, of Siloam, NC passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018. He was born in Surry County on February 2, 1973 to Opalene White McKeaver and Steven Lee McKeaver. Chris was employed as the Manager of the North Carolina Welcome Center on Interstate 77. He was a deacon of Turkey Ford Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Pam Whitaker McKeaver of the home; two daughters, Sydney Leigh McKeaver and Carrie Denise McKeaver, both of the home; his parents, Steven Lee McKeaver and Opalene White McKeaver of Dobson; mother-in-law, Peggy Whitaker of Siloam; uncles and aunt, Gary and Doris McKeaver of Waldorf, MD., Danny Greenwood, of Dobson; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Janet and Steve Fulk of Siloam; and nephew Andrew Fulk. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Etta White, Ralph and Edith McKeaver; aunt, Ann White Greenwood, and father-in-law, Roger Whitaker. Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 28, 2018 in the Chapel of Moody-Davis Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the Turkey Ford Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Steven Corn and Rev. Hank Belfield will be conducting the services. The family will receive friends from 12:30 P.M. until the time of his service at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, an account has been set up at the State Employees’ Credit Union for the Sydney and Carrie McKeaver College Fund. Donations may be made at any branch.
