Benton - William C. (Bill) Warford, aged 80, of Benton died Monday. He was a retired employee of the state highway department and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lizzie James Warford; two sons, Johnny Warford of Benton and Vensel Warford of Hot Springs; a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Copeland of Benton; two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Sheets and Mrs. Lillie Echols, both of Hot Springs; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Benton - W. C. (Bill) Warford, 80, of Benton died Monday night in a Benton hospital.
Born September 13, 1888, Mr. Warford had been a resident of Benton for the last 19 years. He was a retired state highway department employee and a member of the Grand [Gravel] Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Lizzie James Warford; one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Copeland of Benton; two sons, Johnny Warford of Benton and Vensil Warford of Hot Springs; and two sisters, Mrs. Olie Echols and Mrs. S. R. Sheets of Hot Springs.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Bravel (Gravel) Hill Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Carl Manning, John Manning, Ray Warford, Bill Warford, Johnny Jones and Wayne James.
