Eileen Marie Creedon Terrien Sullivan, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on June 22, 2014. She is survived by her four children, Barbara Chelton, Lorraine Aitken, Mark Terrien, and Linda Durst; eleven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Born Eileen Creedon, to Ada Green Creedon and Thomas Creedon, she lived in Michigan for nearly her entire life with the exception of five years when she moved to Virginia. She is preceded in death by her first husband of 31 years, Robert Burnham Terrien, and her second husband of 27 years, Arnold Sullivan. She was a highly accomplished pianist and organist and played for many Catholic churches in the Detroit metropolitan area. She was also active in the promotion of music professionally with her participation in the annual Grinnell’s Music Festival in Detroit and various community theaters. Her love and devotion to music and the Catholic Church spanned more than 80 years. A devoted wife, mother, and humble servant of the church she will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 25th from 2 to 8 with rosary at 7 p.m. at the Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home, 2125 12 Mile Road, Berkley (two blocks west of Woodward Avenue). Mrs. Sullivan will lie instate Thursday 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass 11 at Our Lady of La Salette Catholic Church, 2600 Harvard Road, Berkley (1/2 Mile north of 11 Mile at Coolidge Highway). Procession for burial to Roseland Park Cemetery will follow.
