Byrl Beatrice Adami, 80, passed away April 7, 2007 surrounded by her family in Kingwood, Texas.

Born July 27, 1926 in Sulfur Springs, Texas, Mrs. Adami was a resident of Weatherford for many years. Byrl was a devout Christian, loving mother and an adoring wife. She previously was the co-owner of Tender Care Day Care and was known to many simply as Granny. She attended Victory Baptist Church for many years. Byrl was a wonderful cook. Baking was her passion and cakes were her perfection. This world is a little sweeter because of Byrl and her Italian Cream Cake.

Byrl was preceded in death by her father, Brady Estes; mother, Maudie Dunavin Estes; husband, Charles H. Adami; sisters, Cletus Fisk, Mildred Bishop; brother, Jack Estes; and a daughter, Michelle Burns.

She leaves behind her dachshund, Littleman; daughters, Patricia Martin and husband, Stanley of Kingwood, Sharon Williams and husband, Tommy of Weatherford, Kay Stockton of Weatherford, Kim Head and husband, Jack of Weatherford; sons, Marty Adami of Azle, Larry Adami of Panama City, Fla.; sister, Doris Milner; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three special loved ones, Bobbie Sue Keel, Joyce Hargrove and Mrs. Young; as well as many other friends and cousins.

Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, in the Victory Baptist Church with interment in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 9, at the funeral home. Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
