Death Claims Daniel M'Gee

Local Manufacturing Corporation Employe Dies at Hospital Sunday

Daniel B. McGee, 68, died at 7 o'clock Sunday morning at the county hospital where he had been a patient since Aug. 8.

Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Flanigan, Reed and Hull Funeral Home. Rev. Lester McFarland will conduct services. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery. The casket will be open at the funeral home tonight until time for services.

Mr. McGee was born in Brownstown and spent his early life there. He moved to Columbus 36 years ago and was employed several years by the Black Cat Coal Company. His latest employment had been with Hamilton Manufacturing Corporation.

Survivors are three sons, Albert McGee, Raymond McGee, Indianapolis; LeRoy McGee, United States Navy; his daughters, Mrs. Jessie Riley of Seymour, Mrs. Kathryn Cookson, Mrs. Mary White and Mrs. Jesse Lucas, East Columbus, Mrs. Maxine Strong, Columbus, and Mrs. Lillian Phillips. Loogootee.
