Clarence C Mordhorst, 61, of New Liberty, died Monday after a brief illness.
Services will be at 1 p.m. in the Frick Funeral Home, Durant.
Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Mr Mordhorst was born in Wheatland, Iowa. He married Elsie Muhs Feb. 7, 1929, in Davenport.
The couple farmed in Scott county before operating a line hauling business.
For the last 20 years, they operated Marty's Tavern in New Liberty.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Delmar, Bennett; daughters, Mrs Otto (Delores) Stender,
Walcott and Mrs Fred (Darlene) Dircks, New Liberty; 12 grandchildren; his mother, Bertha Mordhorst,
Durant, brothers, Donald, Walcott, Gilbert, Durant and Harold, Buffalo, and a sister, Mrs Theodore
(Alice) Geisler, Davenport.
Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.
