Her parents were Herman and Goldie Kelley, deceased. Her husband of 39 years, Henry Cleon "Skip" Thomas, preceded her in death. They had 2 sons, Jeffrey (wife Shane) and Bradley (wife Stacey). She is survived by sister, Pat (John) Urrutia and brother, David Kelley. She has five grandchildren, Ethan, Avery, Rylee, Whitney and Bradley and 2 great grandchildren, Gabriel and Dylan. Barbara moved to Florida in 2011 after retiring from Meridian Middle School cafeteria. She was a member of Southport Heights Christian Church. Services will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home at 1977 S State Road 135, Greenwood, Indiana on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm with a funeral service at 12:00 pm and burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Lupus, Arthritis or Cancer charities.
