LAKE HAVASU CITY, AZ — Leo J. Davignon of Lake Havasu City, Arizona and formerly of Acushnet, MA passed away on March 10, 2017 after a brief illness. He leaves behind his wife Joan to whom he was married for 64 years and his daughter Anne Wypych and husband Charlie. Also, a granddaughter Kerri Wypych. He was the son of the late Silva and Angeline Davignon.

He is survived by his brothers Rene and his wife Claire, Raymond and his wife Pat, Roger and his wife Diane. His sisters Angie and Evelyn, Loretta and her husband Doug. Also, the late Alfred Davignon, Irene Polston, Doris St. Amand and Yvonne Davignon, and many nieces and nephews.

He worked for Stayalastic Smith also called Scovill and Risdon for 40 years as a foreman of the machine shop. He served in the National Guard for 10 years and in his free time he enjoyed swimming in his pool, going for walks in the desert, playing cards and spending time with family and friends. Calling Hours will be at Rock Funeral Home, 1285 Ashley Blvd, New Bedford, MA on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 4-7pm. His funeral will be held Saturday at 9am at Rock Funeral Home followed by a funeral Mass at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 125 Main Street, Acushnet at10am. Burial in Hillside Cemetery, Rochester, MA.
