Albert W. Gross Jr., age 78, of Maumee, passed away on March 19, 2018. He was born on October 13, 1939 to Albert Sr. and Dorothy Gross in Cleveland, Ohio. Al worked many years as a salesman for furniture and appliances, including Highland Appliance. He eventually worked at Jeep where he retired in 2006. Al enjoyed nature and the outdoors, was an avid Cleveland Browns fan, and loved the time he spent watching his granddaughters playing sports.
Al was preceded in death by his wife Judy; his parents; daughters, Mari Gross and Tami Burke; grandson, Guy; and his canine companion, Panda. He will be dearly missed by his children Jenn (Craig) Buck, Dawn (Jeff) Merrill, Lisa (Jeff) Borovac, Teri Pistininzi and Matt Gross; grandchildren, Breanna, Alexa, Kaylee, Kenzie, Kamryn, Jarrett, Jeffery, Vanessa, William, Lyndsey and Shelby; great granddaughter, Emersyn; siblings, Ed, Nancy, and Ken; and several extended family and friends.
Family and friends may visit on Thursday from 4-8:00 p.m. at the W.K. Sujkowski & Son Funeral Home, 3838 Airport Hwy., where Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the mortuary with visitation after 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
