KENOSHA - Agnes M. Widmer, 97, died Saturday, May 28, 2005. Born May 12, 1908, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of Frederick and Agnes (nee: Hauff) Roggendorf. On August 22, 1936, she married Jule A. Widmer. He preceded her in death on January 16, 1979. For many years, she was employed at the Racine Chapter of the American Red Cross. Agnes was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, a member of the Daughters of Isabella, and the American Red Cross Retirees. She is survived by her three children, John F. Widmer of Kenosha, Mary C. Pawloski of Kenosha, and Dr. Michael B. Widmer of Seattle, Wash.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Clarice Munson of Falls Church, Va.; two step-brothers, Joseph H. Klotz of Kenosha and Rev. Claude R. Klotz S.D.S. of Milwaukee; and a step-sister, Florence 'Trudy' Klotz of Kenosha. Besides her parents and husband, Agnes was preceded in death by her step-father, Joseph Klotz; three sisters, Ann Ernst, Helen Zievers, and Elizabeth Schneeberger; and a step-sister, Lucille Schweiger. A Mass of Christian Burial for Agnes will be celebrated at the St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church, 4804 - 7th Avenue, Kenosha, on Wednesday, June 1, 2005, at 12 noon.
