All information here is from the History of South Heroe Island, Vol. II by Allen Stratton, 1980. Mr. Stratton indicates that Phebe was the daughter of Ephraim and Elizabeth (Story) Mosher of Washington, Dutchess Co., NY, and that she outlived her husband Daniel Hoag for many years and is buried in the Quaker Cemetery in Grand Isle. On this basis, I am entering this memorial.
