PIONEER-DARNELL, LA - Funeral services for Allah Lee Gentry Kilpatrick, age 94, will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oak Grove, Louisiana.

Father Joe Kallookalam will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Epps Cemetery in Epps, Louisiana.

Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove, Louisiana.

Visitation will be held from 9 AM until 11 AM on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 203 Purvis Street, Oak Grove, Louisiana.

Mrs. Kilpatrick passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Azalea Estate Assisted Living in Monroe, Louisiana.

Allah was born on October 29, 1923 in West Carroll Parish and spent most of her life there, farming and raising a family with Redin. Her family extends their heartfelt appreciation to Arlene and Alton Welch, Jean New, and Hospice Compassus.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 203 Purvis Street, Oak Grove, Louisiana 71263; West Carroll Public Library, 101 Marietta Street, Oak Grove, Louisiana 71263; or the charity of your choice.

Mrs. Kilpatrick is preceded in death by her husband, Redin Robert Kilpatrick; father, James Paul Gentry; mother, Minnie Viola Smith Gentry; son, Redin Robert Kilpatrick, Jr.; son-in-law, Michael Barnidge; brother, James Hershel Gentry; brother, Pete Gentry; and sister, Sarah Pauline Eaton.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary K. Barnidge of Monroe, Louisiana; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Geneva Kilpatrick of Engadine, Michigan; son, Nick Kilpatrick of Darnell, Louisiana; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Steven Roberson of Fayetteville, Arkansas; sister, Faye Lowery of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; sister, Helen Rawls of Darnell, Louisiana; granddaughter, Lori Gelinas; granddaughter, Michele Heckman; grandson, Ryan Kilpatrick; grandson, Michael Barnidge, Jr.; granddaughter, Elizabeth Kohlhausen; granddaughter, Amanda Roberson and 12 great grandchildren.
