Glenda K. Aper, 58, of Lafayette, passed away at 12:45 AM on Thursday, March 15, 2018 surrounded by family at her sister Jackie's house in West Lafayette, following a brief battle with cancer. Born in Lafayette on November 26, 1959, she was the daughter of Jack Aper and Thelma (Ridgway) Aper. Glenda dedicated over 20 years of service to the logistics industry as a dispatcher for Tate & Lyle. As an avid bargain shopper, she loved attending garage sales, and hitting the open road on a Harley Davidson was always a favorite pastime. Backyard cookouts, bonfires, spending time with friends and always keeping her company smiling, Glenda did it all. She was always a hard worker and loved her family dearly.

She is survived by one son; three sisters; father; and several nieces and nephews. Glenda was preceded in death by her mother and her son's German Shepherd, Fritz, whom she adored.

Memorial services will be held at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens on Tuesday March 20th at 1pm with Shawn Miller officiating. Friends may call from 11am to time of service.
